Brie was part of a litter of 7 puppies found discarded at a local dumpster in Wheeler Co. The man who found them brought them to our rescue in June of xxxx. These pups were only about 2 months old at the time. Brie is very friendly, well socialized and playful. She has a very comical yet inquisitive personality and will make a great family companion. Brie will do well with children as long as the children are old enough to properly handle a young puppy. Brie's litter mates all look to be a mix of Lab and Hound with possibly some German Short-Haired Pointer mixed in. We expect her to grow to be a large dog, weighing approximately 45-50 lbs once full grown. Brie has been receiving her first year vaccinations, wormings and even treated against any known parasites, such as coccidia and giardia.( SoCo Rescue administers ponazuril and panacur to treat the parasites to all incoming puppies as a precautionary measure.) Brie will need to be spay once she reaches the age of 6 months, which is the minimum age that our vet recommends for this surgery. She does appear to be very healthy despite her horrid start to life.
